Amazon Brings new Fire tablets at low cost: Kindle Voyage also announced
Amazon is enlarging its family of tablets with new products. Company has decided to release their four brand new tablets to capture the low and mid-range tab market.
It has been announced that a 7-inch Fire tablet along with a price tag $139 and LTE version tab for $479, a refreshed 8.9-inch tab Fire (HDX) costing $379 are about to hit the market very soon. A low range tab priced as $99 also going to be released with display size of 6-inches.
Despite of the low price Amazon tries to offer the best possible configuration. This time they are offering pretty strong hardware features. The 7-inch tablet pixel density is 216 ppi whereas the 6-ich can support o 252 pixel per inch. Amazon has announced that these tabs can provide better performance and better resolution than Samsung entry level Galaxy Tabs. The Fire tab has strong protection of glass with Gorilla Glass display to avoid scratches and cracking.
The Fire HDX has a battery backup of 12 hours. This tab is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor. This tab provides far better graphics than their previous model HDX. The frequency or the clock speed hits 2.5 GHz and to provide better graphics experience Adreno core has been set up which supports 1920x1080 pixels HD. This tablet has pixel density of 339 and has auto adjustment feature of screen brightness. An upgrade has been introduced with Wi-Fi feature that helps the Internet connectivity feature to be much faster.
For the kids Amazon has introduced Fire HD kids edition. This tablet has been named as kids but it has very strong and powerful configuration. The price tag has been set for the tab is $149 for 6-inch and $189 for 7-inch display. Amazon will provide two years of replacement guarantee. The OS used for this tab is Sangaria, which is basically android oriented.
Moving to another devices, Amazon has introduced to Voyage e-reader which has been said to be the thinnest Kindle ever along with smart balance of brightness, contrast and resolution display. The price tag has been set for the tab is $199.
