Michael Douglas News 2014: Birthday Greetings for Sept. 25, More On "The Reach," "Ant-Man" and Personal Life Updates
Michael Douglas recently attended the Totonto Film Festival. He is working on a project with Marvel titled "Ant-Man." Michael Douglas discussed many things about his upcoming projects and his career in general.
When talking to Vulture, we expressed the importance of bad guys in the movie and its importance dating back to films of our father's times. He insisted the new hollywood movies that we should have good guys and bad guys in the recent times as well. The Reach will highlight the bad guy character in a prominent way he said.
Michael also shared his thoughts about the "Guardians of the Galaxy." He said "It's really good! I think that's given Marvel the confidence to step out in this whole new area, so I'm looking forward to adding to it."
When asked about what he thinks about Peyton Reed who replaced Edgar Wright for directing "Ant-Man," he said, "He's good. I haven't started yet, actually - I go down tomorrow, and it's my first day. So I've met him a couple times, but he seems to be in control of this beast, this wild beast. Marvel has got it down to a science, pretty much, and they've got kind of a phenomenal track record."
Michael Douglas is well known for his numerous roles he played as villian in several hollywood movies. "The Reach" will see an out-an-out villian chasing the hero and screaming 'why don't you die'. On the personal front, the news is that Michael's son Cameron Douglas would be release on March 18, 2017. Michael hopes that Cameron still has a chance to make his life better and beautiful again if he is willing to change it for better. He said the family and friends are with him and happy to see him back soon.
Michael's "Ant-Man" is scheduled for release on July 17, 2015. His birthday too is coming on Sept. 25 taking him into his seventies. Nevertheless, he still remains the strong, handsome and charming actor of all time loved by one and all in Hollywood. Happy Birthday Michael!
