Boardwalk Empire Season 5 News: Why It Has to End
Boardwalk Empire Season 5 Premiere Date: Why It Has to End
HBO is becoming known for its drama series lately. One of its creations that has been getting a lot of head turns is Boardwalk Empire. The series falls under the genre of period crime drama. Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) is the protagonist of the show and his role of gangster back in the early 1900s will surely give you a taste of what it is like to live in Atlantic City in that era.
Aside from the compelling plot, the performance of the cast is excellent, which unsurprisingly, won them acting awards. The series' director and writers also received accolades. So, why is the show ending?
Despite its critical success, the ratings of the series dipped last season. Because of this, the network decided to go for just one last season: Season 5. HBO released a trailer of Boardwalk Empire Season 5 and it looks like a movie. The new season is going to be called "Evil Ways." It seems to be promising given the fact that Martin Scorsese directed its pilot.
Boardwalk Empire Season 5 premiered on September 7 so fans of the show can watch their favorite characters even for a time that is getting shorter. As for how the show will end, there is no news about that yet.
