New Google Android 5.0: Updates on New Features and Release Dates
Google has made announcements about the coming of their latest OS; the Android 5.0 which is also commonly called Android L. This latest version of Google Android is greatly expected to provide drastic changes to our mobile experience, whether we are using a smartphone or a tablet.
Among the many changes that this new Operating System provides, the most noteworthy would be its looks. This OS is designed to provide a more realistic image on the screen. The screen would be flat but will have shadow gradient and 3D tiles sliding one over the other. As a result, every image, animation, and even shadow would appear very real to one's eyes.
Google also made changes on the way notifications will be presented. As compared from previous versions, Android 5.0 will present only notifications about relevant apps. On top of that, the notification feature is now merged well with the lock screen so you have an idea as to what is going on with your phone as you pick it up.
As per everyday usability is concerned, mobile users would be glad to know that Android 5.0 devices would be far more efficient than its older counterpart. This is brought about by Project Volta, a revolutionary way of showing how and why the phone is losing power. The user then can respond appropriately and address the issue therefore lengthening his battery life.
Android 5.0 has already been made available for app developers since the 25th of June. But consumers can rest assured that the new OS will be out this fall.
