Stalker Release Date, News, Reveals, Plot, Rumors and Review: CBS Brings New Psychological Drama Courtesy of Secret Circle's Kevin Williamson
It feels like there has been a drama or a comedy-drama made about everything under the sun. Well it felt that way until now. CBS is looking to break new ground and boldly go where no other psychological thriller has gone before with their new series Stalker. The series set to premiere on October 1st is created by Kevin Williamson who is better known for his writing work on Dawson's Creek, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Secret Circle and The Vampire Diaries.
Stalker is about a team of detectives that delve into the minds of your everyday run of the mill stalkers in a bid to protect their future victims. Every episode posses a new threat although as time passes and the series continues they shall no doubt come up against their own Zodiac killer. This is a special unit in the LAPD labeled as the Threat Assessment Unit. On this unique team is headed by Lieutenant Beth Davis a straight edge all round good cop who is driven by her own personal traumatic experiences. On her team is detective Jack Larsen who is s recent transfer from New York where he worked on the City's homicide division and whose attitude and personality has landed him in trouble before. We shall duly label him our wild card. There is also the young and eager detective Ben Caldwell and the super smart detective Janice Lawrence. Our straight edge cop and our wild card asses the threat level of each stalker to determine if they are a real threat. Lieutenant Beth Davis is being played Maggie Q who is best known for her iconic work in Nikita. Our wild card is played by Dylan McDermott whom we all know and love from American Horror story and Big Shots. Victor Rasuk and Mariana Klaveno shall be playing detective Ben Caldwell and detective Janice Lawrence respectively. Elizabeth Rohm plays Deputy District Attorney Amanda Tate. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television for CBS.
