Arrow Season 3 Spoilers, Reveals and Plot Review: Liam Neeson to Return as Leader of the League of Assassins, Ra's al Ghul for Recurring Role
The third season of Arrow is supposed to premiere on October 8th on the CW. Recently at the San Diego Comic Con we got a lot of scoops on what to expect from the new season of the hero franchise. For those of you who did not attend, the Arrow producers claimed the leader of the League of Assassins, Ra's al Ghul would make an appearance in the third installment. Liam Neeson, from Taken and Non Stop said that he would not hesitate to take up the role once again, so w e c an expect the league to be more than a passing ominous presence in the latest installment of the series.
In fact the casting description, the producers of the series show they are not looking to stray too much from the Liam's rendition of the character. On the other hand, when they describe the league leader as one of the major recurring characters in the installment may rule Liam out of the picture due to his busy schedule and rank in Hollywood. Liam does have a point though when he described the way that the league's leader should be presented and the way that he represents the beliefs of the organization. This is a group that would initiate a plague to wipe a section of the world's population in order to regenerate a new generation for their beliefs. As such, they should be single minded and determined to go to any lengths to achieve goals.
The trailer which was shown at the San Diego Comic Con illustrated Oliver in a situation where he is keeping a big secret which is probably from his new love interest Felicity played by Emily Bett Rickards. The two of them finally became an item at the finale of the second season and this new season should see their love gets a short lived chance, because face it, its Arrow. Something has to come up which shows Oliver Queen that he cannot escape his other life as Arrow and cannot protect Felicity no matter how much she knows.
