Franni Cash Releases Powerful New Single “Next To You” From Hazel Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Rising artist Franni Cash has released her latest single, "Next To You (From The Original Motion Picture Hazel)", a heartfelt track featured in the upcoming film Hazel. The single is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Based on the true story of Hazel Miner, Hazel dramatizes the harrowing events of March 1920 when three children - Hazel, Emmet, and Myrdith - become lost in a sudden and deadly white-out blizzard. Struggling through the blinding wind and snow, the children must fight for survival over the next 25 hours, even as their father leads a desperate search to find them before it is too late.
"Next To You" captures the emotional core of this story - themes of presence, loyalty, and standing with someone through the hardest and most beautiful seasons of life - reflecting the courage and love at the heart of Hazel. With Franni's rich, soulful vocals and the track's cinematic production, the song resonates both as a standalone single and as an integral part of the movie's storytelling.
"This song was written to reflect the deep bond at the center of Hazel," said Franni Cash. "It's about presence, loyalty, and standing with someone through the hardest and most beautiful seasons of life. I hope listeners feel that same sense of closeness and courage when they hear it."
The release of "Next To You" marks another milestone for Franni Cash, who continues to carve out a distinct space in music with her honest lyricism and stirring performances. Known for her ability to blend pop and cinematic influences, Franni brings both intimacy and grandeur to her sound.
Hazel is set for release on September 26, 2025.
