“House of David” Actor Michael Iskander Announces Conversion to Catholicism

Michael Iskander, the Egyptian-American actor best known for portraying King David in the hit Amazon Prime series House of David, has officially entered into the Catholic Church.
On August 21, 2025, Iskander shared the milestone on his Instagram, writing: "Today is a very special day, that, looking back, has been a long time in the making. Today I joined the Catholic faith." He emphasized that this step is not the culmination of his spiritual journey, but rather "the beginning of the journey."
