Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain Release Date, Trailer Information And News: Metal Gear Solid V Expected To Have More Sales On The PlayStation Platform Compared To The Xbox
We have the latest news for you on the release date and trailer information of Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain. The publisher of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami Digital Entertainment, has compared the sales of the software on PS4 and Xbox one. Reports from Games Industry have revealed that the PS4 version of the game can manage to take up to 12% of the total software sales while the Xbox one only manages 4 percent of the total sale of the software.
The numbers from the report should not surprise you putting into consideration that "Metal Gear Solid" has always been viewed as a playstation franchise. This explains the extremely low sales of the software in Xbox one. The series of the game came to prominence after the first release of the game on the first console from Sony Computer Entertainment. The releases that followed thereafter made very good sales for the PS2, PS3 and now the PS4 with "Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes".
The reports also show how the PS4 has dominated in the market over the Xbox one. Sony's new console has been outselling Microsoft's System by a wide margin as both systems were launched late last year. To solve this, Microsoft is trying to lower the price of Xbox one to the PS4 level and also launching the game in other countries. This is meant to help them increase the sales of Xbox one. Despite all the efforts, it is likely that "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will sell more units on the Sony's console.
The publisher, Konami Digital Entertainment has chosen to remain quiet about the release date of the game. Many fans expect that the game will be released during the early months of 2015. Fans of the game and other gamers have a lot to look forward to as at the same time, the PS4 will be getting "Bloodborne," "The order 1886" and the "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". Nevertheless, the game has also faced criticism. The trailer for Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain has been online for quite some time now and it has given fans a sneak peek of what to expect. There were complaints that the 'Ground Zeros' was too short and it was not worth its price. The Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is available right now in the market for Xbox 360, Xbox one, PS3 and PS4. The Phantom Pain should be expected, as earlier said, in early 2015.
