From humble beginnings in Ferriday, Louisiana, Swaggart emerged as a dynamic figure in both Pentecostal ministry and gospel music. Swaggart's Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, became a central hub for Spirit-filled worship, where he continues to minister weekly.
