Sanctus Real to Headline Revised Canadian Tour Following Newsboys Cancellation

Faith Live is pleased to announce that acclaimed Christian rock band Sanctus Real will now headline the Canadian leg of the 2025 Revival Nights Tour, following the difficult decision to cancel previously scheduled appearances by the Newsboys.
The change comes in the wake of unforeseen developments, including the recent departure of longtime Newsboys frontman Michael Tait. The resulting impact on ticket sales and overall tour logistics led Faith Live to re-evaluate the Canadian portion of the tour. In light of these challenges, the original dates have been restructured, and Sanctus Real will now bring their dynamic worship experience and heartfelt message to Canadian audiences.
"We are heartbroken by the circumstances that led to the cancellation, but we believe God is still working through this change," said a representative from Faith Live. "Sanctus Real brings a fresh and powerful voice of encouragement and hope, and we know attendees will be blessed by their ministry."
Sanctus Real, known for hits such as Confidence and Lead Me, has continued to inspire audiences with their message of faith, perseverance, and trust in God. Their addition to the Revival Nights Tour brings renewed energy and spiritual focus to what promises to be a powerful worship experience across Canada.
Revised Tour Dates Featuring Sanctus Real:
-
May 31 - Kelowna, BC
-
June 2 - Calgary, AB
-
June 6 - Winnipeg, MB
-
June 13 - Chatham, ON
Ticket holders for previously scheduled Newsboys performances are encouraged to contact their original point of purchase for refund or exchange options. Faith Live is committed to ensuring a smooth and rewarding experience for all attendees.
