Peter Burton Releases His Debut Song "Where Would I Be"

Singer-songwriter and worship leader Peter Burton releases his debut song, "Where Would I Be," with Integrity Music, available now. This newcomer is storming onto the scene with his upbeat song, reflecting on God's saving grace. Listen to "Where Would I Be" now.
This song is inspired by Burton's personal struggles with mental health and by the thought of what life might be without Jesus. Burton co-wrote this song with AJ Pruis and Matt Armstrong, celebrating the transforming power of the gospel. It testifies to the life-changing reality of a daily walk with God.
"I wanted to write a song that put a positive spin on the reflection that we would be dead and lost without Jesus," Burton shares. "This song tells the story of victory I've personally found in Jesus. Musically, the song took shape instantly with a sonic picture that felt perfect for people to turn it up and shout along, declaring the beautiful life we've been given by Jesus."
Recently signed with Integrity Music and managed by Storyhouse Collective (his mentor, Matthew West), Burton hails from California, where he spent the last 10 years leading worship while touring the world with multiple CCM artists, including Lincoln Brewster. Burton helped start Thrive Worship alongside his fellow worship leaders from Bayside and was a part of writing and performing on Thrive's first album, which went to No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Since then, he has stepped into his solo artist career to tell his personal story of how Jesus changed his life while continuing to lead worship at Bayside. This song is the first taste of new music from Burton as he leads listeners on a journey of gratitude marked by his signature energy and optimism rooted in his love for Jesus.
He adds, "I believe this song can be an anthem for those inside and outside the church, old believers and new believers, declaring the transforming power of the gospel and the life they've been given in Jesus."
