RLW Releases New Christmas Single "Do You Hear What I Hear"

A native of Johnson City, TN, RLW (Robert Lynn White) is a singer and songwriter with an assignment of music and ministry reaching beyond the church walls. RLW was introduced to music at a very young age at his local church, Friendship Baptist Church in Johnson City. The church choir's sound fueled the beginning of his lifelong journey through music.
RLW's songwriting and vocal prowess began reaching larger audiences in the late 1980s through his first and former band, Brotherly Love. His group released four independent albums - POWER IN THE MUSIC (1990), NOT JUST ANOTHER FACE IN THE CROWD (1992), YOU OUGHT TO KNOW (1996), and BROTHERLY LOVE LIVE (2002). RLW then stepped out as a solo artist and launched his national recording artistry with the release of his debut independent album aptly titled A NEW BEGINNING in 2021.
His newest release, THE JOURNEY, chronicles his life, challenges, changes, and maturation. THE JOURNEY blends contemporary Gospel and R&B styles with Jazz and Funk flavors, with lyrics that provoke worship and praise. The 11-track album also includes a special holiday song, "Do You Hear What I Hear."
"Do You Hear What I Hear" was written in 1962 by Noël Regney and Gloria Shayne. The song tells the story of the Nativity and is a plea for peace. RLW croons his soulful rendition of the classic holiday song and shares his video of a Christmas with family and friends and his telling of the birth of Jesus. Additionally, RLW turns the Christmas anthem into a meaningful moment of worship and praise.
