Bethel Music Announces New Album, "We Must Respond;" Releases New Single

Bethel Music announces their new forthcoming album, "We Must Respond," which will be released worldwide on January 10, 2025. Having just been awarded two prestigious Dove Awards at the 55th Annual ceremony by taking home "Song of the Year" and "Children's Recorded Song of the Year," Bethel Music also drops their brand-new single today, "Even Though I Walk," led by Hannah McClure, from the much-anticipated forthcoming 18-track album. Pre-save the album and listen now to "Even Though I Walk" HERE; watch the video HERE.
"We Must Respond" was recorded at the Cascade Theatre in Redding, California earlier this year, and is a collection of worship songs featuring tracks led by Bethel Music, with guest vocalists that include Brooke Ligertwood, Abbie Gamboa, and Aodhán King. The album is a call to action from Bethel's Bill Johnson out of a season of waiting on the Lord: Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God," invites believers into a holy exchange between the Spirit of God and the hearts of those who seek Him and long to know Him. There in that place of deep surrender is where genuine, true worship takes place.
"Even Though I Walk" from "We Must Respond," is a powerful declaration that came out of a spontaneous moment in the song, "I Belong To Jesus," and is a battle cry for believers proclaiming the victory Jesus has over death and fear, knowing He has already won the war.
Says Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music, "We Must Respond...when we think about His presence, His goodness, love, mercy, salvation, the simple fact that we're breathing, our hearts are filled with gratitude. He is our everything, and we can't help but respond to Him and give Him our worship."
Adds Hannah McClure, "This song came out of a season of facing a lot of fear and grief. It has been an anchor and a reminder for my soul that God is good and faithful to walk with us in the pain, and that we come out as more than conquerors with Him."
Fans can currently catch Bethel Music on their WORSHIP & MINISTRY NIGHTS: WE MUST RESPOND tour - a series of special gatherings across North America that runs through Oct. 30. For more information, including ticketing and venue details, please visit HERE.
