Sean Rodriguez Releases Title Track From Upcoming Album "Jesus Will"

Offering a lifeline of Hope to anyone treading the treacherous waters of unexpected grief or hardship, Sean Rodriguez delivers the powerful new anthem "Jesus Will." The latest in a string of inspired singles from the WieRok Entertainment recording artist, "Jesus Will" is now available on streaming platforms and is set to be the title-track of Rodriguez's forthcoming debut EP.
Penned by Rodriguez, Ricky Vazquez and Joshua David Cockerham-the latter of whom also produced the song- "Jesus Will" captures Rodriguez's heart in the wake of his aunt's sudden passing last year. "My first thought when I heard the news was, 'That's not fair,' and I questioned why God allowed it to happen," Rodriguez admits. "My aunt was a selfless servant of God, so to find out that she met the Lord at 48 years old truly seemed unfair. I wasn't questioning God's presence or His love, but I was simply asking, 'How could this happen?'"
"Because of my aunt's ability to see God's goodness through the storm, I believe the lyrics of 'Jesus Will' are words she would have shared with somebody hurting," he says of the song's inspiration. "I want this track to offer truth, hope, promise, and comfort for those who might be contemplating turning away from God."
The accompanying visual clip for "Jesus Will" further emphasizes the song's poignant theme. "The lyrics in the video are displayed in my handwriting, almost like a personal letter to anyone who needs this message," Rodriguez shares. "The lines that capture the essence of the song's meaning are: 'You can't go back you don't know how to move on/But you're still here and He's still God your story isn't done/You will bend and you will break/But you will rise in Jesus' name/Because right here and right now/He is working all things out'."
"Jesus Will" joins Rodriguez's previous 2024 singles, "House of God" and "Honey," in comprising three of six tracks to be featured on the upcoming Jesus Will EP. In addition, Rodriguez and his band are performing the new selections around the country as part of the Jesus Will Summer Tour. The multi-city outing includes stops at such leading festivals as Kingdom Bound, Agape Fest, Elevation Fest and Unity Fest, among others.
