The New Scoop and Spoiler Alert on Big Bang Theory
The New Scoop and Spoiler Alert on Big Bang Theory
The hit sitcom Big Bang Theory is still not filming for production because the network (CBS) is still dealing with all the actors' contracts. CBS executives are working on negotiating with the three main actors of the show, Kelley Sweeting, Jim Parsons and Johnny Gallecki as they have been requesting for a salary increase.
The 3 actors are reportedly appealing to get an increase amounting $1 Million when they used to get $300,000 for every episode for the past 7 seasons of the show. The two other mainstay actors, Kunal Nayar and Simon Helberg also wanted to get an increase but no press release is out yet on the amount that they are asking. Steve Molaro who is one of the networks executive producers reassured the public that they are doing everything for all the issues to be done and for the show's next season to happen. He even said during an interview with E! Online, "Everybody should be very successful and happy and rich. They earned it. It's a great cast. Great cast. It's their time." On the other hand, other regulars of the show like Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) have been given their contracts. At least now you know for sure those two characters are guaranteed to be on this next season.
Nina Tesler (CBS President) gave this statement last July that they are very confident about the whole negotiation. And to make all its fans and viewers more assured that this show is in it for longevity, the network even had it renewed for 3 more seasons. There were rumors circulating online that Jim Parsons (Sheldon) is said to be leaving the sitcom but the actor denied it although he said he is not certain if his character will remain on the show.
The much-awaited Season 8 of Big Bang Theory can be expected to be seen again on TV on September 22, 8pm. Mark your calendars.
