Branan Murphy Releases New Song "Love Like That"
Branan Murphy drops yet another new track from his upcoming album Life Is Hard. God Is Good titled "Love Like That." Available everywhere today via Paravel Records & DREAM Records, Murphy's new track is an uptempo, fresh pop track that is easy to sing-along to and is perfect for that road trip drive. The song was produced by grammy nominated and dove award winning producer Jordan Sapp and co-written by Branan Murphy, David Spencer and Coby James.
Murphy writes, "We had a lot of fun in the creative process of this song. I really wanted a song that would help people feel how the love of God can make our hearts feel free, especially when we go through hard things. It's a crucial part of understanding the message of my album, Life is Hard. God is Good. That even in disappointment or pain, the way God loves us and the hope we have in him can make the heavy things feel light. It's not just that God loves us, it's how he loves us that gives us energy again, that gives us untouchable joy, that frees us from giving in to our worries.
"It's the thing that should be the most attractive part of following Jesus to nonbelievers - the way he loves us and the way we can relax because of it. So, I'm thankful for the vibe of this song to hopefully communicate that. It feels like a summer song, and I definitely hope it shines some light into people's lives."
Known for his passion and honest lyricism, Branan utilizes a wide range of musical styles and performances to connect with people from all walks of life. Life is about people. Branan seeks to make music for all people. His songs are typified with expressions of the human condition and infused with messages of the irresistible love and grace of Jesus. Branan positions himself as a type of cultural apologist, to present the unchanging truths of God in a relevant way to a vast and ever-changing world that desperately needs him. And to wherever or whomever the music takes him, that's where Branan will be. Whether leading worship for the church or performing on pop stages, Branan Murphy is an artist for the people.
