Caroline Cobb to Release an Album Based on the Psalms; First Single Drops Next Friday

Acclaimed singer, songwriter Caroline Cobb will be releasing her new album Psalms: The Poetry of Prayer sometime in May of this year. You can now PRE-SAVE the entire Psalms album! The album's eleven tracks give voice to a rich range of prayers - thanksgiving, ache, lament, praise, and confession.
Cobb writes, "In the upheaval of 2020, I started slowly working through the Psalms during my time alone with God, and praying them back to Him. Songs started coming, and now I have a small collection ready for the next step."
The first single comes out NEXT FRIDAY, January 13. It is a foot-tapper called "No Place Better (Psalm 84)," co-written by Cobb and Wendell Kimbrough.
In 2011, singer-songwriter Caroline Cobb gave herself a goal to write a song for every book of the Bible in a year. That year of writing set in motion a passion to tell the stories of scripture through music, with imagination, artistry and faithfulness to the text. Cobb has been compared to Rich Mullins, Andrew Peterson, Sandra McCracken and Ellie Holcomb. She and her husband live in Dallas, TX with their three children Ellie, Harrison and Libby.
