Christian Music Artists Send Their Christmas Greetings
Christian music artists, such as Darlene Zschech, TAYA, Brooke Ligertwood, Kalley, Paul Baloche, David and Nicole Binion, and Anne Wilson, take the opportunity to offer their Christmas greetings. On social media, they share with us what Christmas means to them. Some of them even share their favorite Bible passages.
Darlene Zschech:
Dearest friends and family near and far.. we just wanted to touch base with you all to wish you a very Happy Christmas, and to say that we are praying that 2023 will be filled with even more of what makes your heart sing.. and that the miracle working power of God will be very evident in your life. From our growing family to yours, whatever this year has looked like for you, we speak this wonderful Psalm over you today and always xxx
Psalm 27:13-14
13 I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
With so much love... Darls and Mark, Amy and Andrew, Ava, Roman and Ruthie, Chloe and Hosanna, Thea, Elias and Nora, Zoe and Matt.
TAYA:
Just dropping a quick little line to say Merry Christmas guys. from the Gaukrodger family to each of you and yours this Christmas. Whether this season is one you love or one that can be tender/painful, I pray you would feel God's closer-than-your-breath Presence and His kindness towards you. He is God Emmanuel, God-with-us, The Word made flesh who dwelt among His people - I promise you there is more here than meets the eye - He is here.
May the days be merry, bright and centered on Jesus, the King of the world.
Love you guys x x x
And Happy earthly Birthday Jesus - so thankful You came.
Kalley:
"Jesus came to people without important jobs to show they were important", Elsie said about the shepherd part of the story. No followers, no influence, out in a field tending to the menial and God chose them. Today that job would be a death sentence for the hustle and visibility of the world that we live in.
But the host of heaven filed into the obscurity, a vibrant processional in the dark sky for the infant God, all done before the eyes of those whose pupils were tuned to the lonely mundane. Jesus, postpartum in a manger, was positioned where anyone of any social status could come - any reputation, any upbringing. They didn't need a VIP ticket to get in, no blue validation check, no microphone or global impact, they just needed humility. Anyone can afford that, everyone has access. And still all the small, seemingly forgotten things in me find their place in that manger as well, infantile offerings validated, soul feeling its worth. The search for significance is satisfied, we found Him.
Brooke Ligertwood:
Merry Christmas!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known."
John 1:1, 3-5, 9-14, 16-18 NIV
Anne Wilson:
Merry Christmas from my beautiful sister and me... so grateful for this season and what it means to know Jesus. We miss our Jacob (brother) so much but we know that God has a bigger story in mind, one that we cannot begin to fathom.
Praying y'all have the most beautiful day celebrating the One who came to save us all.
Sending so much love to ALL of you.
David and Nicole Binion:
Merry Christmas from the Binion crew! We're so grateful that God became flesh and came to save us: Immanuel, God with us; the Hope of the world. We pray this Christmas is filled with joy, hope, and love for you and yours!
Blessings,
David, Nicole, Gracie, Carson, Cole, Ana & Harvey Jude.
Paul Baloche:
Merry Christmas, friends. I'm thankful for childhood memories filled with love and family. Church, parents, siblings, Aunts and Uncles. I understand it wasn't that way for everyone. May God comfort and encourage you as you make new memories with those you love.
