Here Are the Lyrics and Audio of Village Lights' "Here is Our Hallelujah"
Worship collective Village Lights are back with the release of the first single from their forthcoming album, 'Here Is Our Hallelujah.' This brand new single follows on the heels of their debut self-titled EP released in March of this year. Village Lights is made up of Sarah Kroger, Ike Ndolo and Ricky Vazquez and they are based out of Nashville, TN.
"Here is Our Hallelujah," written by Mitch Wong, Dee Wilson and Ike Ndolo, is a spacious and crisp worshipful symphony, growing from beautiful simplicity to a full-fledged anthem including choirs and a communal pattern of echoing the praises being sung. The central message displayed in the song's title truly reflects a collective "hallelujah", meaning "praise the Lord."
Here are the lyrics:
{Verse 1}
Almighty, everliving God
We've come to worship You
Almighty, everliving God
Our Father, Spirit and the Son
We've come to honor You
Almighty, everliving God
Chorus 1:
This is the day You have made
We rejoice and we bring praise
Here is our Hallelujah
Here is our Hallelujah
{Verse 2}
Almighty, everliving God
We've come to worship You
Almighty, everliving God
The One who is and is to come
We turn our eyes to You
Almighty, everliving God
Chorus 2:
This is the day You have made
We rejoice and we bring praise
Here is our Hallelujah
With endless joy, full of faith,
We have come to bless Your name
Here is our Hallelujah, here is our Hallelujah
{Bridge}
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
To the One who set us free
To our Hope and Victory
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
To the King of Majesty
Over all eternity
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
To the Name above all names
We will join with all the saints. Singing
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah
{Tag}
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah
