Caitie Hurst Announces Engagement
Centricity Music artist and songwriter Caitie Hurst has announced that she is engaged. Recently, her boyfriend Parker Beasley proposed to her.
"I know I say a lot of days are the best day ever but this is legitimately THE BEST DAY EVER!! I love you Parker Beasley! (My fiancé? WHAT!?!)" Caitie posted.
"Caitie Hurst is the most beautiful, kind, intentional, genuine, joyful, selfless, faithful, loving person to ever walk this earth. She is the clearest picture of God's grace and love I have ever met," Parker shared. "From the day I first talked to her as an 18-year-old who didn't know anything, I knew she was the girl I wanted to marry."
A Hendersonville, Tennessee, native, Hurst brings a powerhouse voice to magnetic pop melodies. Having lead worship and worked in youth ministry for years, the singer-songwriter has a heart for producing music that shares both personal testimony and vibrant jam-session sounds.
"I want to bridge the gap between songs that sound like popular radio and songs that hold lyrics that are actually meaningful and communicate the Gospel," Hurst said. "God has used songs to reveal truth to me and get me through challenging experiences. I want to create music has cool beats, but that ultimately it's the word of God within the songs making the impact."
Hurst released "Nothing To Hide" in March 2018. "Nothing To Hide" comes from Hurst's journey battling insecurity and anxiety, ultimately finding freedom in Christ's love. She followed up this release with her debut EP, How Could I Be Silent. The track, "How Could I Be Silent," made its way to the No. 2 spot on the Christian contemporary hit radio Indicator chart and Hot AC chart.
