Bill Moss, Jr. Responds to National Civil Unrest with New Worship Anthem Single "Brand New Day"
Renown songwriter, producer and worship leader Bill Moss Jr. responds to the nation's civil unrest and social injustice conversation with the release of a powerful, purposeful and passionate new worship anthem, "Brand New Day." The new Salathiel Records single is available now on digital music outlets everywhere.
Co-written by Moss and Nashville singer/songwriter Mark Alan Stansberry, "Brand New Day" is an intentional call to action to encourage us as a society to pause our conflicts, look past our differences and reach out and support one another to effect change-change that could ultimately help us realize a collective goal to dismantle racism and achieve racial justice.
Listen to "Brand New Day" HERE.
"In reflecting on the turmoil within our country and the world, this song was birthed on purpose and for this time," said Moss. "The church is the people and 'Brand New Day' calls for the church - the people - to rise up, reach across the aisle and take authority over our situations and circumstances. Ultimately, my hope and prayer are that this song exhorts every believer who hears it to pray with purpose, faith and authority for our world and God's people during these historic times. "
Under the sway of mesmerizing lyrical hooks "this is the day to make a difference," "reach out" and "I can't breathe, "as a standalone message, "Brand New Day" speaks truth to power in its mandate to address the anguish, frustration, and anger in our urban communities across the country.
Heir to a music legacy that's transformed the sound of gospel, Moss is the eldest son of the late Bill and Essie Moss(the legendary "Bill Moss & The Celestials,") brother to James (aka "J Moss"), nephew to the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, and cousin to music icons Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark, Jacky Clark-Chisholm (the world famous "Clark Sisters") and Kiera "Kiki" Sheard.
