Colton Dixon Premieres New Video "More of You," Watch Here
Former American Idol finalist Colton Dixon has premiered his brand new video for his single "More of You" today. "More of You" is the lead single his forthcoming sophomore Christian album "Anchor" (19/Capitol CMG) which drops August 19. "Anchor" follows on the heels of his highly successful debut album "A Messenger." Released on January 29, 2013 by Sparrow Records,"A Messenger" sold 22,000 copies in its first week of sales. It debuted at #15 on the Billboard Hot 200. It also debuted at #1 on the US Christian Charts and US Gospel Charts. As of May 2013, the album has sold 100,000 copies in the US.
For his sophomore effort, he co-wrote with renowned songwriters and artists such as Trevor McNevan (TFK), Matthew West, TobyMac, Ben Glover, Matt Bronleewe and the album's producers. Anchor was recorded in Nashville's Berry Hill neighborhood, a creative hub dotted with recording studios, and produced by David Garcia (TobyMac, Mandisa, Newsboys) and Red Decibel (Switchfoot, Kelly Clarkson, Jeremy Camp). On it, Dixon explores not just new topics, but new sonic territory as well.
