YWAM Kona Music Releases New Song "To Be in Love"

YWAM Kona Music in partnership with Integrity Music has released a new single. 'To Be In Love' features Isla Vista Worship's Mark Barlow, who describes it as a song "for people who are tired of the motions, who want to get back to the point of this whole life and existence thing: to know Him intimately, to dwell in union with Him forever."
The song was birth back in 2018 when the chorus came to Mark's mind in a time of corporate worship. It developed over the next couple of years, until the night of the YWAM Kona recording where it came together. The essence of this song is encapsulated in Psalm 27:4, "one thing that I ask, one thing that I seek, just to look at you, for all eternity."
"God's dream is that every nation, every tribe, every tongue would gather together before the throne and worship Him," Barker continues. "I believe we have an opportunity to get a taste of that as we worship with songs that echo that unity. I believe there's a sound God wants to send out from Kona Hawaii, and YWAM bases around the world, that as people sing it, their hearts would be captivated to know God, adventure with God and take His message to the ends of the earth."
YWAM is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, all dedicated to advancing the Gospel and serving Jesus throughout the world. Established in 1960 by American Dr. Loren Cunningham and his wife Darlene, YWAM was founded with the purpose to "know God and to make Him known." Today, YWAM has over 15,000 full-time 'volunteer' missionaries who train 25,000 short-term missions volunteers annually, serving in more than 181 countries globally.
YWAM Kona Music is the worship team and soundtrack for this heart-fire movement located in Kona, Hawaii. Leading on YWAM's largest global missions base and ministry training facility in the world, YWAM Kona Music is declaring, praying, seeking, singing, trusting, and following Jesus, fueling passionate praise, intercession and prayer for believers everywhere.
