Marcus Jordan Delivers Message of Empowerment with New Video "I Can"
Musician and singer Marcus Jordan is a man who desires to promote true fellowship with God through Bible-based teaching and spirit-led praise and worship. Succeeding his grandfather and father, he is the pastor and leader of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, TX. As a noted musician backing artists Brian Courtney Wilson, Kurt Carr, Solange Knowles, Juanita Bynum, Angie Stone, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Trinitee 5:7 and others, he is now focusing more on his own career as a rising Gospel artist and garnering the attention of the music industry and gaining a growing number of fans.
Marcus released his debut album I WILL BLESS THE LORD in 2018. An epic performance at the 25th Essence Festival in New Orleans, LA followed in 2019. His I WILL BLESS THE LORD album included the single "I Can". For 2020, Marcus chose to reproduce the popular track and re-release a more contemporary version of the song. Along with this revised version, Marcus has released the official music video for "I Can".
"I wrote I Can to inspire and encourage people to keep pushing and never give up on their dreams," Marcus explains. "Our words have power. I want people to speak life over their situations. No matter what you are going through, there is light at the end of the tunnel."
"Marcus Jordan's vocal styling and interpretation of I Can is both soulful and inspirational to the listener..what a treat to mix!," says Grammy®, Dove and Stellar Award-winning mix engineer John "Yosh" Jaszcz. "I Can" is written by Marcus and produced by Nicholas Johnson with an empowering message and with a soulful drive.
"I Can" is available now on all digital music and streaming platforms and the official music video is available on YouTube. God's will for his life and his passion and mission to preach and lead have become one unified goal for Marcus - to serve all people. Marcus daily serves selflessly and through his voice and song, empowers people to believe for anything they desire or need. Through and with God, you will make it, YOU CAN!
