Cade Thompson and Dirty Rice Unite for Epic Reimagining of Hit Song "Provider"

Red Street Records artist Cade Thompson unveiled the news via social media earlier this week that a surprise remix was coming. The day is here. Today, Red Street Records artist Cade Thompson releases "Provider: Dirty Rice Remix" via all digital outlets while simultaneously releasing a remixed video via his social media outlets.
Cade partnered with "Dirty Rice" - aka Chris Mackey (Lecrae, Blanca, Derek Minor, Andy Mineo and more) - to produce the epic reimagining of the powerful song, resulting in a track sure to get listeners on their feet and dancing in their homes. The song "Provider" has been encouraging listeners during the coronavirus pandemic and the single is still racing up the radio charts. "Provider" has even become a hit on social media through the platform TikTok, with the music of the song being used as background for their posts, further propelling the message and reach of the song.
Thompson says: "About a month and a half ago we had this remix idea right in the middle of the COVID quarantine, to team up with Dirty Rice to create a remix for my debut single, "Provider." I wanted to have a fresh, fun, and danceable sound for this remix, and Dirty Rice brought that to the table. This remix makes me want to get out of my chair and start dancing, reminding me that because God is my provider, we can all celebrate that truth. I am excited to see the videos that people will share through social media as they express their love of God by dancing to this fresh new take on the same powerful message of "Provider." Dirty Rice comments: "It's always a pleasure working with super talented, yet humble artists like Cade Thompson. The "Provider" remix is an amped-up version of an already powerful song about God and his commitment to us. I'm excited to be a part!"
The song - "Provider: Dirty Rice Remix" - is available now via all digital music outlets and the accompanying video is available via Cade's social media outlets.

ABOUT CADE THOMPSON:
Red Street Records artist Cade Thompson is an energetic and soulful contemporary Christian music artist with a sound that appeals to believers and mainstream pop audiences alike. Cade's effortless style promotes his personal musical influences, which draw heavily from the church. Cade has an admirable ability to transform his thoughts and faith into a powerful collection of melodies and lyrics that inspire people of all ages to step into all that God has for them.
Cade's affinity for music began early on as a toddler, when a preschool teacher noticed him harmonizing, and eventually progressed through piano, guitar and drum lessons. After joining the youth worship team in sixth grade, a music mentor came into his life who emphasized the importance of seeking God through the Bible, outside of a worship setting. This understanding placed Cade on a deeper course of encountering the love of the Father and seeking His presence more intently. In these early teen years, Cade knew God was calling him into music ministry and giving him opportunities to grow in that calling.
God has continued to reveal himself to Cade's heart, and the outpouring has resulted in a strong connection to his generation melodically and lyrically. While continuing to be involved in his high school, he maintained a busy schedule including festivals, tours and recording. Now, diploma in hand, Cade is ready for the next chapter in his life.
Cade has shared concert and festival lineups most recently with Jordan Feliz, Hollyn, Sanctus Real, Crowder, For King and Country, We Are Messengers, Colton Dixon, Jaci Velasquez, FF5 and other notable CCM artists. Cade is currently in the studio preparing for his debut release on Red Street Records, a new Christian music label founded by Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus.
