The dynamic, multicultural youth ministry of Planetshakers Church, planetboom, releases "Kamsahamnida" single today (Nov. 15) at Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music and more digital and streaming outlets globally from Venture3Media (V3M).
Produced by Planetshakers' worship leader Joth Hunt and creative director Josh Ham, written by Ham and youth pastor, songwriter, author and drummer Andy Harrison and featuring worship leaders and engaged couple, Aimee Evans and Noah Walker, the musically progressive "Kamsahamnida" is a song of thanks for the goodness and greatness of God.
"planetboom has a habit of taking current musical styles from around the world and turning them into an expression of breakthrough praise on behalf of the next generation," says Harrison. "Kamsahamnida, meaning 'thank you' in Korean, is a 'K-pop style' celebration of all the things we can be thankful for in Jesus Christ. No matter what the language, thankfulness is always the expression that flows from a heart of praise."
So with all my heart
I will thank You Lord
With all my heart
I will praise You Lord
With all my heart
I will thank You Lord
Just for who You are
I will thank You Lord...
Kamsahamnida
(From the "Kamsahamnida" chorus)
Inspired by the diverse youth culture at planetboom that represents at least 60 nationalities, the new single and video follow the release of the band's declarative "Praise on Praise" and "Saints" as well as its acclaimed and first full-length album, companion book and audiobook, all entitled Jesus Over Everything.
The 11-track Jesus Over Everything album features title track "Jesus Over Everything," Hebrews 4:15-16 inspired "Run To You," Revelation 4-inspired "LEMME TELLYA," encouraging "New Levels" and declarative "Praise Over Problems" and "I Belong," while the companion book delves into the rich themes of these songs. Author Andy Harrison especially created the book for young people and anyone seeking to enrich their faith journey.
