Check Out Zach Williams' New Song "Slave to Nothing" Here
It was announced earlier this month that Zach Williams is releasing his anticipated new album, Rescue Story, on October 4. Leading up to street day, Zach is debuting another new song today, "Slave To Nothing," which is also accompanied by a lyric video.
Along with the album's debut single, "Rescue Story," "Walk With You," "Heaven Help Me," and now "Slave To Nothing," all four songs are available now as instant downloads with the album's pre-order campaign, which kicked off earlier this month at all digital music providers. "Heaven Help Me" and "Walk With You" are just a couple of the songs that came to him when he looked back on his life during the writing process.
Rescue Story is an emotive album, brimming with goose-bump inducing moments of enlightenment, redemption, personal revelation, and of courageous self-reflection. Williams' new collection of songs fit together much like a book, with each song being an essential chapter in the overarching narrative. Musically, the album further explores the distinct country and rock n' roll sensibilities that inform Zach's stirringly soulful songwriting.Reflecting on his new album, and the blessings Christ has given him, Williams says, "When I gave my life to the Lord, I realized He never left me, even in the dark times. For this new album, the title fits because every song in it has a rescue story. When you're at your end of the rope, that's when your rescue story begins. In my case, Jesus has been my rescue story."
