iPad Mini 3 Apple 2014 Release date, Specs, News
Apple is expected to release the iPad Mini 3 this Fall along with the new iPad and potential iPad Air. The release of the iPad Mini 3 seems close a new iPad Mini deal is being offered to consumers.
The iPad Mini 3 is rumored to have a TouchID fingerprint sensor, A8 processor, iOS 8 and waterproof feature. The new Apple tablet could also feature the touch ID system that was incorporated into the iPhone 5S. Apple fans are hoping for a release in October alongside the iPad Air 2 and other Apple devices. Apple might even introduce the iWatch and new MacBook Pro 2014 at the same time this Fall, which would make a very busy last quarter of 2014 for the tech giant heading into the holidays.
Several stores are dropping prices, which usually means that new products are coming. Walmart now offers the first generation of iPad Mini for only $249 slashing off $50 from its original price while other retailers stripped $100 from the iPad Mini's price.
Best Buy and Target are offering the 16GB non-Retina iPad Mini for $199. The non-retina version is now available for just $199.99, which is the lowest for iPad Mini. Target also offers the 16GB of iPad Mini with Retina display for $369.99 from its original price of $399.99.
Apple itself cut $30 off the price of iPad Air and $20 price off on the iPad Mini Retina as part of the company's educational discount. The deal is only for teachers and students with an .edu email address.
