Jean Watson Unveils Gorgeous Music Video Version of "St. Patrick's Breastplate"

Internationally acclaimed recording artist Jean Watson is thrilled to unveil the lovely new music video version of "St. Patrick's Breastplate," from her stunning new CD, SACRED, which released to retail last month through Truthfulmusic Productions and Elevate Entertainment.
Shot by Belfast, Ireland-based director of photography Jim Crone, and featuring swordsmen/actors from the hit television series,Game of Thrones, "St. Patrick's Breastplate" juxtaposes the innocence of a child in the midst of the metaphorical battle between Good and Evil, set against a medieval Irish backdrop. The lushly photographed video beautifully highlights Watson's ethereal vocals and wistful violin.
"Once in a while a very special and talented musician comes along and presents an opportunity to shoot a more interesting type of music video," says Crone. "This was the case when Jean Watson contacted me. I had several ideas kicking around in my head after hearing the track and I presented Jean with a very epic and somewhat bold idea to film a journey of a young boy-king and his guardian set in medieval times. Shooting in Ireland can be a challenge with (the unpredictable) weather, but the locations are great, and with a small, experienced crew we managed to wrap everything up in a two-day shoot. I look forward to filming with Jean again. She is an inspirational person and a brilliant singer and musician."
"Jim Crone brought the story to life as I sang and played violin in six locations around northern Ireland, including Inch Abbey, a filming site for Game of Thrones," Watson adds. "I spent 10 days in Ireland in September, singing and speaking in churches, doing street ministry, and making the music video. There were many adventures along the way, including a scene that was set in front of ancient castle ruins at sunset. To get to the location, we had to climb under a barbed wire fence and face a herd of curious cows who let us know we were definitely not welcome! The sky was cloudy, but just as I began to sing, the clouds parted, and the sun came out over the castle. I felt the presence of God all around me so strongly that I could hardly contain myself! It was a moving experience for all who watched. I was deeply aware that I was walking in the steps of Saint Patrick as I sang his ancient words once again over the land we both loved."
"St. Patrick's Breastplate" is a featured track on Watson's new CD, SACRED, which was produced by multi-Grammy & Dove Award-nominated contemporary Christian music pioneer Billy Smiley (White Heart, Union of Sinners & Saints, Margaret Becker) for Northern Shore Productions.SACRED includes 10 ancient songs of the Church, brought to life by Watson's ethereal, Celtic-flavored musical stylings, and embellished with guest performances from the likes of guitar maestro Phil Keaggy, cellist Matt Slocum (Sixpence None the Richer), and legendary vocalist Matthew Ward (2nd Chapter of Acts).
