Tyscot President Bryant Scott To Celebrate 50th Birthday With A Bash!

The family and friends of Tyscot Records President, Bryant Scott, are throwing a "Favor at 50" birthday celebration concert in his honor Friday, June 22, 2018 @ 7 PM at the Total Praise & Worship Center, 2800 E. 39th Street in Indianapolis, IN. Some of Tyscot's longtime recording alumni such as Deitrick Haddon and Vashawn Mitchell will headline the event. Tyscot's co-founder, Bishop Leonard Scott, will perform, as will rising star, Ruth La'Ontra, who recently earned her first Billboard Top Ten hit, "Kingdom," with the label.
Tyscot Records was co-founded by Bishop Leonard Scott in 1976 with his late nephew, L. Craig Tyson. For nearly 30 years, Bryant Scott has been leading the company founded by his father and cousin. Over the years, Tyscot has ignited the careers of artists ranging from John P. Kee, Vashawn Mitchell and Deitrick Haddon in the early days to recent luminaries such as Kelontae Gavin, Bri (Briana Babineaux), Casey J, Cheryl Fortune and Anthony Brown & group therAPy. Tyscot is the oldest operating African-American owned gospel recording label in the world.
