Maranda Curtis Debuts at #1 on the Gospel Chart
Maranda Curtis' brand new album The Maranda Curtis Experience, debuts at No. 1 on Top Gospel Albums (3,000 units) and enters Top Christian Albums at No. 5. The set marks the first Billboard chart appearance for the worship leader from Miami, Florida.
Curtis is also part of The Church Choir, an ensemble of vocalists that includes John P. Kee. The Church Choir's If God Be Us peaked at No. 2 on Top Gospel Albums in November 2016.
"The Maranda Experience Volume 1 is a personal worship experience made public. You get a chance to experience my altar, in hopes that you will create your own altar for God, resulting in your own experience."
Born and raised in Miami, FL to Reverend W.S. Curtis and Mrs. Darlene Curtis, the fourth of seven children, Maranda quickly found singing to be a source of comfort. Maranda has had the opportunity to share the stage with such gospel artists as Pastor John P. Kee, Kurt Carr, Youthful Praise & more.
Known for her melodic tones and her natural flow in worship, Curtis continues to soar as a leading voice in the gospel music industry. Maranda's signature sound has been featured on various music projects as a lead vocalist and audiences have taken to her sound very well.
Maranda lives by the belief, "Worship is not a matter of skill; it's a lifestyle!"
