'The Voice' Season 6 NBC See who Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Usher & Shakira Take into Top 5
"The Voice" Season 6 continued on NBC on Tuesday night and the eliminations were cutting the Top 8 down to the Top 5. The decisions since the To 12 have been out of the coaches hands and America has all of the power to vote through who they want to see in the Finals.
In the end, the Top 5 chosen by fan voting to advance was Christina Grimmie (Team Adam), Kristen Merlin (Team Shakira), Jake Worthington (Team Blake), Josh Kaufman (Team Usher) and Kat Perkins (Team Adam) who was the last to get in with the final save. Perkins sang Heart's song "Barracuda" and absolutely killed it and deserved to move on. Unfortunately, there are always the ones who get sent home. The three to not move on were Delvin Choice, Sisaundra Lewis and Audra McLaughlin. All three are great singers and hopefully we will be hearing more from each of them as they pursue their musical careers outside of the show.
So each coach has at least one contestant left and Team Adam has two remaining for the Top 5. Next week, the contestants will battle down to see who makes it into the Top 3 for the Finale. "The Voice" also showcased two future judges of the show with both Gwen Stefani and Pharrell performing. They will both be filling the red seats as judges next season on "The Voice".
Adam Levine (Team Adam) is coming off of winning last season (Season 5) and has a very strong team this year so far. Blake Shelton (Team Blake) won three seasons in a row (Seasons 2-4) and is looking to win back the crown. Newcomers Usher (Team Usher) and Shakira (Team Shakira) are on their second season of the show after both being on Season 4. They are both looking for their first win as a part of the hit singing competition.
You can watch "The Voice" on NBC on Monday/Tuesday nights at 8/7c. Who would you like to see in the Top 3 for the Season 6 Finale?
