Pentatonix's "A Pentatonix Christmas" Surpasses Half a Million in Sales

A cappella super popular group Pentatonix's A Pentatonix Christmas surpasses a half-million in U.S. sales. A Pentatonix Christmas was released on October 21, 2016. It featured two new original songs, "Good to Be Bad" and "The Christmas Sing-Along."
The album debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 3 with 52,000 albums sold in its first week and later peaked at number 2. The album also debuted atop the Billboard Holiday Albums chart, their second number one on that chart after That's Christmas to Me.
Last week, the set sold another 115,000 copies bringing its cumulative total to 503,000. It's the 12th album to sell 500,000 in 2016 and the second half-million seller for Pentatonix. The vocal group's other half-million effort is another seasonal title, That's Christmas to Me, which has sold 1.9 million since its release in 2014.
