Hart Ramsey and the NCC Family Choir Spend Second Week in Top Five
True Story, the new disc from noted pastor, teacher and musician Hart Ramsey and the NCC Family Choir (Prayer Closet/eOne Distribution) made its debut at Number 5 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart and followed its opening week by moving up to the number three spot. True Story also made an impressive showing on the Billboard Combined Christian and Gospel Chart, moving from number 37 to 16.
Grateful to God for the chance to minister the Gospel through music, Hart Ramsey told leading Gospel music web portal GOSPELflava: "the songs that make up "True Story" are the expressions of a Church Family trusting the LORD through a transition that would destroy most congregations. It's easy to write victory songs when there's no battle, but to sing of victory when you're fighting for your collective lives takes a faith that lives beyond Sunday Morning. True Story is our testimony that the Grace of GOD is more than a cliche, fad, or popular doctrine."
It Is So, the infectious praise chant and lead single lead by Daniel Johnson continues to dominate the airwaves as it nears the top 50 on this week's radio report. "It Is So is an anthem for believers whose experience has not yet caught up with that they are believing for," says Ramsey. "The song encourages us to say only what GOD has said about us. Our believing should never be altered by our experiences, but our experiences should be affected by what we believe. God orchestrated the operation of the entire universe by the power of the spoken word. He gave us the same power. I think the song and the album will deliver life changing words in this prophetic time."
Realizing the power of singing and speaking God's Word, Ramsey issues a challenge to church choirs to record themselves singing It Is So and posting it on the Hart Ramsey and the NCC Family Choir facebook page. Plans are underway for Worship and Word with Hart Ramsey and NCC dates to be scheduled in several cities across the country.
The profound and powerful teachings of Pastor Ramsey continue to impact the multitudes via his social media outreach and his inspiring Hart Ramsey's Uplifts messages reach a daily audience of over 25,000.
