Andre 3000 and Big Boi drew a huge crowd on the main stage to close the night and were backed by a small band and minimal production value for a headlining act. The set started at 11.30pm, local time, the duo opened up their set with 'B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)' from 2000's 'Stankonia'. Their hour and a half long set - which was cut short due to time, making them unable to play the finale of 'The Whole World' - also featured 'Hey Ya' and 'Ms Jackson', as well as 'Rosa Parks' from 1998's 'Aquemini' plus 'Roses' and 'Ghetto Musick' from 2003's 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below'.
Janelle Monae hit the stage with the duo to perform her track 'Tightrope' that Big Boi is a guest rapper on. "I wanna say that this is my favourite group in the world, and what you're witnessing right now is history," said Monae as she left the stage. Singer Sleepy Brown and rapper Future also joined them to special appearances during the set.
Andre 3000 shared about a special guest on hand watching from off stage telling the crowd, "One of my idols is backstage tonight. Prince is backstage." Prince did not join OutKast onstage following the announcement however. Check out the full set list from their performance below.
