"What elevates these songs beyond mere plaints is Ms. Evans' robust and sweet voice. She sings with power, grace and dignity." - New York Times
"Sara Evans' new album 'Slow Me Down' was worth the wait" - Associated Press
"Evans is in fine voice, especially when she goes tonsil to tonsil on duets with The Fray's Isaac Slade and Gavin DeGraw." - Oakland Tribune
"This newest release is a fine portrait of her life and loves. Sara has figured out how to keep country music making and motherhood in perfect pitch." - Huffington Post
"(Evans) has a consistent real-girl charm to her that has followed throughout her 17-year career, all the way up to latest release "Slow Me Down."" - YAHOO Ram Country

Slow Me Down is co-produced with Mark Bright (Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, and Carrie Underwood) who Evans last worked with on her Platinum-selling #1 Country album Real Fine Place (2005). Evans co-wrote three of the albums eleven-tracks and some of Nashville's finest songwriters are represented on the album. Slow Me Down sees Evans collaborating on three tracks "Better Off" with Country legend Vince Gill, "Can't Stop Loving You" a duet with Isaac Slade and a cover of Gavin DeGraw's "Not Over You," which features Gavin singing harmonies. This album is what fans have waited for and newcomers are bound to fall in love with.
