Amazon Fire Review, Specs, Features and Other News: Amazon Fire Considered as Failure
Many articles on the technology section talk about how big of a flop the Amazon Fire phone is. As such, we are here to provide you with more details about the product so that you can judge the device before you even think of purchasing it. We will also be touching in the Amazon Fire TV and tablets.
The Motley Fool wrote an article which is basically an Amazon Fire phone review to which they have concluded that the device is indeed a flop. After twenty days from Amazon Fire phone's release date, the total count of products sold is just an estimated 35,000 units. Also, proving failure of the product, the company had even decided to cut back the price to just $0.99. With more than $83M of Amazon Fire phone in inventory, this first attempt of Amazon in venturing in the smartphone arena proves that it just made the wrong move.
So what led to the failure of Amazon Fire?
Aside from putting the device on a high-end price and making it exclusive to a single mobile service provider, the company already limits itself from a wide range of potential market. Should Amazon learn from this, they can launch a product with better chances of being popular and in-demand on the market.
As for other Amazon products, the Amazon Fire TV stick release had been pushed back to January 2015. This product is proving to be worth the investment as many are pre-ordering the device even with the knowledge that they would be waiting long.
Come back for more updates about the Amazon Fire products.
