Nexus 9 Release Date In USA: HTC Made Tablet Coming Soon
People who were planning to get new smartphone or tablet in the coming holiday season have possibly waited for just the right time. The market is flooded with all the right kind of devices launched at the right time. Just as the dust of the Apple march was about to settle, Google came up with its two new bigger announcements, Nexus 9 and Nexus 6.
Both these devices are advanced in every way and when this technology combines with Android Lollipop, nothing could have been better. However, no one really knows about when the new tablet Nexus 9 will be available for in store purchase.
This HTC-made tablet will be available for preorders on most of the leading websites by today and if rumors are to be believed, it will be shipped in less than a week. Although leading network carriers have not provided a confirmed date, it is believed that they will also open sales counters for Nexus 9 release in the US by November 3 or in the same week. It is expected to be available with AT&T, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, and T-Mobile.
Now the most important question is why one should wait for Nexus 9 when Apple has come up with so many interesting choices in the iPad category. Actually, Nexus 9 has a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver processor, which is further supported by the very powerful 2 GB RAM and 2.3GHz processor speed. This device is really faster most of the other tablets out there. It is believed that Android 5.0 gives it amazing performance edge over the other tablets in terms of ease of use, interface experience, and overall functionality of the device. However, the ultimate comparison is still awaited after the release date.
As for the cost, this 8.9-inch IPS display tablet costs only $399 for 16 model and $479 for 32 GB model. Please note that these models are WiFi only and you'll probably will have to wait for a LTE version that is expected to be priced at somewhere around $599, which is still cheaper than Apple iPad in the same category.
