Windows 10 Releases First Update Build Called Build 9860 and Boasts of the fusion of Old, New and Improved Features
Windows 10 previews are out and along with it are its first update build, Build 9860, for its Windows Insider Program participants.
If one will recall, Windows 10 is a huge leap from the previous Windows 8 and 8.1 operating systems where it brought back well-loved features such as the Start Menu while keeping some of the changes Microsoft implemented in its previous Windows operating systems.
But the new changes are not the only thing Windows 10 boasts about. According to Inquisitr, Windows 10 also features better protection against identity theft, data disclosure and malware.
Going back to the latest Windows 10 update build, The Tech Times reported that among the updates, it included the much awaited Action Center. What is the Action Center? It is similar to the notification center Android and iOS users are familiar of only with a different name. However, the Action Center can only provide basic notifications as of the moment.
Build 9860 for Windows 10 also enables users to move their apps from one monitor to another and gives a swanky new animation sequence when one is switching. The best update from Window 10's Build 9860 is that users can now customize on how frequent they get their build updates.
According to Gabe Aul, the lead in Microsoft's Operating Systems Group Data & Fundamentals team, this is the first update build for Windows 10. He further adds that Windows 10 users can expect future updates to be either more frequent or to come in gaps but still can find them packed with changes, improvements and other things such as bug fixes.
