iPad Air 2 Review, Specs: Newly-Launched iPad Air 2 Considered One of the Best Tablets in the Market; Passed Standard Tests by Tech Experts
Considering that it has only been launched for just a short while, it is indeed quite a feat-though hardly unexpected-that Apple's newly launched iPad Air 2 is already considered by many experts in the business as one of the best tablets in the market. Not a few tech experts have already dubbed it as the "best thing Apple has ever made"; even better than the relatively new addition to the Apple family, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Faithful to Apple's signature look and aesthetic, the iPad Air 2 has a sleek and very neat design with just about 6.1 mm thickness. With its minimal size and 437g weight (as compared to the previous 469g of the iPad Air), it is easier to hold even with just one hand. It has been known that Apple doesn't really talk big about specifications, but the iFixit repair team, who has gotten hold of the new iPad Air 2, has revealed that the new Apple tablet is equipped with a 64-bit A8X processor and M8 motion co-processor. Apple also claims that the graphics performance of the iPad Air 2 has been doubled that of its predecessors with 40% faster processing speed and a 2GB RAM.
Curious as to how they achieved the slimmer size? Smaller battery from the Cupertino company was the key, with 7340mAh as compared to the iPad Air's 8827mAh battery (with the same 10-hour battery life as promised by Apple). It also has an 8-megapixel camera complete with a 1.2-megapixel front camera.
