Laptop world has been adorned with advanced tech innovations and big names like The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 rivals in the competition. Ease of use and portability comes handy, so they are getting popularity as laplets - the dual combination of laptop and tablets.
The operating system offered in both the devices is Windows 8.1 full version and laptop or tablet apps can be operated simultaneously. This unique feature has made these laptops widely popular. The key difference lies in the keyboard. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 lacks the versatile built-in keyboard system. Therefore, users needs to purchase separate keyboard while Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 comes with keyboard.
However, Lenovo holds the keyboard at permanent measure but both the devices can transform into tablet mode. Surface Pro 3 keyboard can be detached from the screen while in Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 allows hiding the keyboard by turnover. The screen resolution has been upgraded for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Previous version had 10.6-inch display with full HD 1920 x 1080 screen resolution while the successor comes with 12-inch screen that contains 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution. On the other hand, Lenovo Yoga 3 presents with an enhanced display with 13-inch screen size. The display frame carries 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution. The flexible design lets user to quickly switch between laptop to tablet mode.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is powered by 1.9GHz Intel Core i5 processor. Built in graphics Intel HD Graphics model 4400 enhances the visual quality further more. The Surface Pro 3 comes with 8GB of RAM. The internal storage is limited to 256GB.
The Lenovo Yoga 3 also offers impressive specification in a well-packed design. It is featured with Quad-Core Intel Core M-70 processor that is co-operated by 8GB of RAM slot. The internal storage holds the same space like Surface Pro with 256GB storage facility. Users can expect for heavy-duty performance but high-end games will not run well in these hybrid laptops.
