Apple iPad Air 2 vs Nexus 9: A Clear Comparison
Apple iPad Air 2 vs Nexus 9: A Clear Comparison
In this day and age where tablets has become a common sight, it is still a practical thing for you to do to choose a tablet with good features such as the iPas Air 2 or Nexus 9 tablet. Here is a clear comparison between the 2 tablets.
October 2014 has been marked by both Google and Apple to be the month when both will be launching their new tablets. The International Business Times has a comparison report that will help us understand if it is a wise decision for both Apple and Google to launch their tablets almost simultaneously.
The two tablets have features that claim to be very similar. However, let's clearly spot the differences in the storage and pricing of the 2. Both tablet models have a 16 GB storage that allows users to have a good amount of storage for their applications and other documents for any purposes. As usual, the iPad Air 2 is more expensive at 25% from the Nexus 9 of Google. The Nexus 9 has a more expensive version for its storage that went up to 32 GB while the iPad Air has more storage choices at 64 GB and 128 GB.
The screen resolution for both the iPad Air 2 and Nexus are on 1,536 x 2,048 pixels. The iPad has a larger screen though, at 9.7 inches, compared with the 8.9 inches of the Nexus 9. This is still a considerable amount of difference though it may not matter much to most of the future users of both tablets.
PC Pro's review also offers more insights to the future tablet buyers on both tablets. Google and HTC, its manufacturing partner for the Nexus 9, has done a fantastic job on the design of the iPad Air 2. However, many feel that the design of the latter is still much better because of its thinness which is at 6.1 mm, surprisingly 23 percent thinner than Nexus 9, which is already at a smaller screen. Also, the overall design of the latest iPad Air model is more attractive than any other tablet now in the market.
Apple has provided Keynote, Pages and Numbers for their users to perform more business tasks while Google provides Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Slides for word processing, presentations and spreadsheet usage. The processor of iPad Air 2 is deemed to be much better than that of the Nexus 9.
Now that you have a better information on which tablet is much suited for your needs. Which one will you choose?
