iPhone 6: To Upgrade or Not to Upgrade? That Is the Question!
Due to the release of iPhone 6, Apple recharges its profit, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The report also stated that there is a high demand for larger screen phones, which made iPhone 6 as one of the number one choices of many consumers nowadays. But, what does iPhone 6 offers? Is it really worth the upgrade?
From a design standpoint, iPhone 6 has curvier edges compared to iPhone 5S predecessor. Consumers can choose one among the three color schemes available, which include space gray, silver, and gold. iPhone 6 is much thinner than iPhone 5S. Featuring a 6.9 mm edges, Engadget praised iPhone 6 as it still comfortable to hold and not awkward in comparison to several smartphones in today's market.
Based on Laptop Mag, when it comes to its performance and processors, iPhone 6 is considered as the first device to use the robust A8 processor of Apple, which is 25 percent faster processing performance and twice as fast graphics compared to the A7 installed in iPhone 5S. If you want to compare iPhone 6 to the first iPhone, it is fifty times faster. Apple also claims that iPhone family is also fifty percent more energy efficient. This just means that you should expect strong performance as you access any apps.
iPhone 6 will also take advantage of the Metal game engine of Apple for iOS 8, which is made to let everyone enjoy a whole new level of mobile gaming experience. Top developers including Square Enix, Ubisoft, and EA Games are now working on iPhone 6 optimized titles.
In terms of camera, iPhone 6 does not have any difference with iPhone 5S. It has the same resolution and offers clear and crisp images. However, it weighs a bit heavier than iPhone 5S and comes with a higher cost.
To upgrade or not to upgrade? That is the question. iPhone 6 comes with new features, design, and bigger storage space. If you want to ditch your old iPhone and want a slimmer and faster version of it, iPhone 6 is worth a try.
