'Fury' Tops Box Office: Brad Pitt's 'Fury' Rakes $23.5 Million in US; Plot Overview, Movie Review
On its premiere weekend, "Fury" harvested $23.5 million and debuted as top movie at US box office, Fox News reported.
Starring Shia LaBeouf and Brad Pitt as Don "Wardaddy" Collier and directed by David Ayer, "Fury" took the crown from "Gone Girl" starring Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck hits from top to second rank with $17.8 million only.
"Fury" film is not the other kind of films that are trying to weave vagueness. This film written by David Ayer is quite straightforward especially during the part of young Norman Ellison' s trial played by Lorgan Lerman. However, there is that one part where it is the climax of the movie that took the attention of viewers and they keep on talking about it.
The "Fury" movie is actually an amazing drama-action film that gives us the chance to know the lives of American crews assigned in military tank. The said tank is stationed in Germany all throughout the ending of WWII. So, imagine what kind of life those militaries had and how can they be able to survive. What are their thoughts and how they fight for their lives?
What makes "Fury" hit the top among other films?
Aside from the film's story plot and star casts, the visuals and graphics are incredible and considered as next level for director Ayer. He culminated all his passion as well as experience in this movie created the ending powerfully memorable. "Fury" speaks volume by means of its visual shorthand.
So, if you are looking for a film with great cinematic art and action-thriller film "Fury" is the best choice to enjoy an incredible piece of filmmaking. Ayer's other movies also do a very great job. It captures the interest of viewers and "Fury" is not an exemption. During the interview with him, he was asked about directing Warner Bros. "Suicide Squad" he answered Collider that it was just a rumor, no confirmation about that yet. But when he was asked if he is willing to direct a film written by others he said, "What I'm going to do next, I'm pretty sure I'll be writing the script."
