1 Girl Nation Celebrates Christmas with the Release of "A Very 1 Girl Nation Christmas"
1 Girl Nation, a Christian CCM/pop quartet signed to Reunion Records, released their debut self-titled album last year to rave reviews and positive feedback. On October 7th, they are following it up with the release of their Christmas EP A Very 1 Girl Nation Christmas. The EP contains five songs, one original entitled "Joy" and the ladies cover of "Let It Go," the theme song to the block buster movie "Frozen!"
In a recent interview with "365 Days of Inspiring Media,"this is what the ladies have to say about the song choices: "We chose "Let it Go" because it's one of our favorite songs we sing live! We took our favorite parts of all the different versions and mashed them into one! "Angels We Have Heard on High" and "Go Tell It On The Mountain" are two of our favorite classic Christmas songs. Most of our other favorite classics we put into the mash up! Last but not least "Joy" was written to talk about all the fun things about Christmas time, but how there is no greater joy than God's gift of his Son."
Here's the track listing:
1. Joy (original song)
2. Angels We Have Heard On High
3. Go Tell It On The Mountain
4. 1GN Christmas Mash Up
5. BONUS TRACK: Let It Go (From Frozen)
