'Scorpion' Season 1 Episode 5 Latest News, Updates, Spoilers: Will the Team be Able to Stop a Nuclear Reactor?
New TV series "Scorpion" is making a buzz from the viewing public as it presents nerds in a totally different perspective. They have just aired episode 4 with positive reviews.
With episode 5 to be shown next week titled "Plutonium is Forever", the team will have to stop a nuclear reactor that is about to wreck a cataclysmic meltdown. With this dilemma, they have to reluctantly seek the help of a former member of theirs, according to reports by HW Hills. This former member is somewhat troubled but they need his expertise to help fix the problem.
Nowadays, nerds have dominated the small screen's sitcom genre. With a team of four nerds with exceptional minds, they act together to save the world against the harmful threats of the modern times. They may be social outcasts but they are smart and they are out there to help with their computer know-how.
CBS gambled on putting together a bunch of nerds to star in a techno-action TV series. "Scorpion" is based on Walter O'Brien's hacking ability showing the world that nerds are no different from an ordinary person. Their brain is what makes them extra ordinary.
The series also stars Katharine McPhee of America's Idol as Paige - a waitress with an intelligent son. Although she doesn't know it but her son is a very special boy. Paige who may not be a genius but she provides the drama on the show. O'Brien helps her connect with her son who may be an eccentric genius and makes Paige fall for him.
"Scorpion" may be a bunch of nerds but these nerds help one another to come up with strange but intelligent solutions to a company's problem.
According to TV, Episode 5 promises to be an intense one, as a former "Scorpion" member will be joining the crew to stop a nuclear explosion. This action-filled episode is also full of drama as the team meets their former member.
Catch Scorpion which airs every Monday, 8 pm CST on CBS. Next time you see a nerd, think of him or her as a genius who might save the world better than anybody can.
