The Sims 4 Reviews: Pros and Drawbacks of the Latest Installment of The Sims Video Game
One of the most popular role-playing games today is The Sims. Ever since its introduction into the gaming world, The Sims has truly changed the landscape of video gaming. It provided an alternative world for players that is very different from most of the games in the market. Even today, this game is still making waves.
The coming of the fourth installment of this game franchise even lifted the bar higher. Developers of the game made real conscious efforts to truly make the game amazing, and at a certain point, they were successful. However, as is always the case, there are some drawbacks.
Let us take a closer look at the pros and cons of the newest game in The Sims series:
Let's start with the pros. With all the enhancements they put up with The Sims 4, creating your new character is a cut above the rest. Character creation is truly one of a kind. The new Personality Creator feature allows you to build your character with more than just its look.
Aspirations are now included. You can now effectively design your Sim as to what kind of person you want them to be. You can set up one aspiration for your Sim and then fill up the three spaces for the traits you want it to have.
This feature is so amazing, and it is unique to The Sims 4 game only.
The greatest drawback in this game is the loading time. For a new game with features such as it boasts, it should be able to function rather quickly. Instead gamer are stuck with a game that takes too long to load up even if your Sim is just visiting its neighbor.
On top of that, some key features such as career paths your Sim can pursue have been wiped out. This is something that a lot of players disagree with. There are many other awesome features in previous versions that are no longer available in this new one.
Bottom-line: There are truly revolutionary features introduced in The Sims 4. Its Personality Creator is one of a kind. Still, like most games, there are a lot of rooms to improve in. it would be best to put back some of these awesome features from previous versions.
