"The Revival Generation" Documentary Captures Gen Z’s Spiritual Awakening

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) announces the release of The Revival Generation, a groundbreaking new documentary that shines a spotlight on the powerful spiritual movement rising among Generation Z.
Directed by Laura Hand and produced by Abigail Robertson, The Revival Generation: Gen-Z Turning to Jesus tells the story of students across America who are experiencing a fresh outpouring of faith on their campuses. From spontaneous baptisms in fountains and lakes to stadiums filled with worship and prayer, the film chronicles how a hurting generation is finding hope, identity, and transformation in Christ.
At the heart of the story is Tonya Prewett, a mother whose daughter's struggles sparked a prayer gathering that grew into UniteUS, a student-led revival movement now reaching hundreds of thousands nationwide. The film weaves together intimate testimonies, sweeping worship scenes, and the voices of leaders like Dr. Ben Carson and author Jennie Allen, offering both an on-the-ground look at this movement and a call to expectant faith.
"This isn't a story of hype - it's a story of hearts turning back to God," said producer Abigail Robertson. "We've witnessed Gen Z cry out for something real, and this film captures the undeniable move of the Holy Spirit among them."
The Revival Generation is more than a documentary; it's an invitation to witness and join a youth-led awakening already transforming communities across America.
The film is available beginning August 28, 2025, on streaming platforms and DVD.
