Dru Hammer Tells Her Story of Heartache and Faith via Her Debut Memoir "Hammered"

Dru Hammer announces the release of her debut memoir, "HAMMERED." The upcoming title is a candid account of her deeply personal story of love, heartache, and faith. Hammer, who established The Hammered Heart Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to those in need, is an unwavering advocate for helping hearts that have been hammered by life - and this book ties into her commitment. All proceeds will go to partnering ministries around the world to help people in need and to inspire and uplift individuals by spreading messages of hope and transformation.
Releasing July 30, "HAMMERED" is available now for preorder.
Filled with heart and raw honesty, "HAMMERED" is a nine-year labor of love for Hammer. In her memoir, she takes readers on a remarkable journey inside her life as she chronicles growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma to marrying into the Armand Hammer dynasty, one of the world's most powerful and richest families. Uncovering the difficulties of her fairy tale life falling apart, to how she ultimately emerged stronger and happier, it's Hammer's personal faith that she credits as the constant in her life.
"In everyone's life, storms come and go," she says. "Many times, I felt like I was drowning and was losing myself. This book explains how accepting Jesus into my heart has worked in my life all day, every day. I welcome all into my world of my tremendous failures and His victories. I hope my story will inspire readers and give them the faith to know we are never alone in our lives and that there is healing from a "hammered" heart."
Hammer also shares how she built her own empire in real estate and design and provides insight on how other women can take control of their lives and finances.
Additionally, she dives into the joys of motherhood with her two sons, Hollywood actor Armie Hammer and financier Viktor Hammer. She doesn't hold back on her thoughts on being part of cancel culture when Armie, who was not found guilty of any accusations or crime, became a tabloid sensation after several women shared intimate details about their alleged 'inappropriate' relationships with him. She has never talked about this painful and tumultuous chapter in her life - until now.
Filled with rich storytelling, "HAMMERED" includes never-seen-before photos and affirmations of hope and is an inspiring read for anyone interested in finding peace in challenging times and looking for a way to embrace life's transitions.
